Description

What You Get
Clothing Repairs, U.S. Department of Agriculture Home and Garden Bulletin No. 107 with 1965 copyright. Inside find step-by-step instructions about mending equipment and aids, basic repair stitches and their uses, reinforcement of garments before they are worn, patches and darns, and mends for damage commonly found in family clothing. I show the pages for mending jeans, jacket ribbing, and a bra. We all did this sort of thing before thrift store clothing was available. You made the repair to extend the life of the garments, especially work clothes. This measures 10-1/4″ x 8″ and has 32 pages in staple binding.

Condition
See the photos above. This shows age and storage but no real abuse. No names or markings. From clean, smoke-free home.

Shipping
Generally sent the same day payment arrives. Unless you request otherwise, I will wrap the book in plastic wrap to help protect it from the elements, tightly sandwich it between pieces of cardboard, then wrap in brown paper to send via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking. See the shipping page for the cost to send a one-ound Media Mail package. Insurance is an additional cost as described. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more (if you will allow me to adjust the invoice before you pay) so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
