Freezing Foods For Home Use by Elsie Lee Miller, Gwendolyn Tinklin, Charles W. Marr and David E. Schafer, Extension Specialists for the Cooperative Extension Service based at Kansas State University. The C-501 Revised booklet from August 1977. This booklet measures about 9″ x 6″ and has 64 pages including the covers.

From the Introduction
Freezing preserves many foods with little change in flavor, color, texture, and nutritive value. It is one of the simplest methods of home food preservation. Completely well-balanced meals can be prepared at almost a moment’s notice from the freezer. Sometimes just heating or thawing is necessary to put them on your table.

Condition
Use the zoom feature to get a better look at the image above. In very good condition for age with lighter handling/storage and Extension Office stamp on the front but no evidence this was ever used. Smells a bit like a musty basement, but will air out in my clean, smoke-free home — or yours.

Shipping
Generally sent the same day payment arrives. Unless you request otherwise, I will wrap the music in plastic wrap to help protect it from the elements, tightly sandwich it between pieces of cardboard, then wrap in brown paper to send via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking. See the shipping page for the cost to send a one-pound Media Mail package. Insurance is an additional cost as described. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.

I doubt that standards have changed much since 1977, but you may also wish to refer to the USDA guidelines for freezing foods.
