Description

The Story
On his way to his brother’s birthday party, the Rich Man is rude to a homeless man. At the party the Rich Man blacked out and had a dream that the homeless man was hit by a car. Feeling guilt that he could have helped this man, he had a heart attack and died. He saw the homeless man on the other side of a chasm and called to him for help. The robed figure with the homeless man replied, “You dare to ask him for help? You who had a warm bed and a full stomach all your life ask him who had nothing? Now he will have everything and you will have nothing .. for eternity.” As the demons are dragging the Rich Man down, he calls to the robed figure, “Send the beggar to warn by brother!!” The “angel” replies, “And what good would that do? He knows of Jesus – he has heard the warnings all his life and ignored them all, as have you.” Just then he woke up, still in his brother’s house. He rushes back to his house — but just before he gets there he sees the same commotion he saw in his dream – with the beggar on a gurney. The Rich Man gets on his phone and calls his brother, asking if they could talk. The brother (with leggy woman on the sofa behind) asks if they can talk the next day. The Rich Man says “Have a good night.”
