As Dunster watched the pathetic little funeral cortege move towards the gate of the Bidadari cemetery, he had no idea that the coffin contained the body of Victor Mowbray, the fifth white Rajah of Selatan. Nor did he know that his own future was to be quickly and dramatically fused with the lives of the boy and girl who followed the Tamil coolies carrying the black bier through the monstrous rain.

See scan above. The dust jacket is in very good condition for age with some edge chips and water stains on the back. The boards and pages are in very good condition. Name of previous owner on front free end-paper and tucked there is the BC Bulletin with November 1955 Selections featuring this book. (shown) Smells like musty basement at time time – no mildew. From clean, smoke-free home.
