Simplicity 6039 which includes full-size pattern and instructions for making this 1973 jacket with short or long sleeves, pleated patch pockets, and belted back. The bell-bottom pants have wide waistband and button fly with cuffs. Use the zoom feature to see the details. Let me know if you’d like to see the envelope back. The first buyer has a choice between three sizes: Juniors 9-11 (32-33-1/2″ bus) or Misses’ 8 (31-1/2″ bust) or Misses’ 10 (32-1/2″ bust). From 1973.
Condition
See photos. For Juniors 9 & 11, the envelope is in very good condition for age with normal storage. The instructions are in good condition. Of the 20 pieces, 16 were cut (on size 11) and 4 were uncut. For Misses’ 8, the envelope is in good condition with the bottom edge of the top flap torn away. The instructions are in good condition. 14 of the pattern pieces were cut, 6 are uncut. For Misses’ 10, the envelope has name and fabric store stamp as shown, instructions are in good condition, and 18 pieces were cut and 2 were not. Purchased in current state. Stored and shipped from clean, smoke-free home.
Shipping
Generally sent the same day you pay. Unless you request otherwise, I will back this with one piece of box cardboard (to help prevent the Post Office from bending it), wrap it in plastic wrap (to help protect the item from moisture or torn packaging), then send inside a manila envelope when sent via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. This is the cheapest postage option that includes both item protection and tracking. See the shipping page to give you an estimate on the cost of a First Class 1 package. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
