What You Get
Simplicity 5047 which includes full-size pattern and instructions for making these shirts with typical 1970s collar and sleeves. Choose from short or long sleeves for these shirts with back yoke and straight bottom. Vest has belt back. Use the zoom for a closer looks. Sized for men with 42″ chest and 16″ neck. From 1972.
Condition
The envelope is in very good condition for age with normal storage, Maryland fabric store stamp, and marks/number in red at top left front as shown. The instructions are in very good condition. Of the 15 pattern pieces, 7 were cut and 8 were not. Most cut pieces were done with pinking shears. I found some writing that should not bother you use of the pattern. From clean, smoke-free home.
Shipping
Generally sent the same day you pay. Unless you request otherwise, I will back this with one piece of box cardboard (to help prevent the Post Office from bending it), wrap it in plastic wrap (to help protect the item from moisture or torn packaging), then send inside a manila envelope when sent via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. This is the cheapest postage option that includes both item protection and tracking. See the shipping page to give you the cost of a First Class 1 package. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
