Description

From the Back Cover
David Krolick is a professional farrier who lives in New Mexico where he has his own horseshoeing business. He has contributed articles about shoeing to Horse and Rider and The American Farrier Journal. In 1984 he traveled about 3500 miles with one of Vision-Quest’s wagon trains. A dozen covered wagons with 60 head of horses and mules trekked for eleven months, north through California, Oregon, and Washington to the Canadian border, and then returned to Arizona through Nevada. David Krolick was head farrier, making sure the animals could travel twenty to thirty miles each day.
