Description

From the Preface
Mothers of children with problems carry a tremendous emotional load. Few occupations carry as much, and those that do carry a different kind. Fathers of neurologically handicapped children do not escape from the burden, but they carry it differently. Sometimes the weight of the problem seems too much to bear, and the presence or severity of the problem is denied in order to cope. Or parents recognize the severity and then they search and search for better answers to a difficult situation. This book will not end that search, for it does not have all the answers; but it will give many parents the opportunity to understand their child better. The greater the understanding of a problem, the more effectively it is helped. This book was written to promote that understanding.

See photo above. The covers show handling/storage, with wear on the corner tips as shown. The spine has not been opened/creased. The pages are in good condition with some markings/writing in ink and some yellow highlighter in the first third of the book. I found some bent corners and there is also moisture ripple at the bottom edge of the back pages. No names, but college bookstore stamp on the front as shown. From clean, smoke-free home.
