Abstract
Revelation is surely the moat difficult book to interpret in the NT. Yet it is filled with OT allusions which can be especially helpful in understanding it. In this paper, the use of allusions to interpret the book is illustrated for Rev 19:11-21, the passage describing the second coming of Christ. It is suggested that these allusions and other contextual considerations support a premillennial eschatology.
