Description

From the Back Cover
Phil Slader had watched the notorious outlaw Lon Kirby put it there. When Kirby left, Phil came out from his hiding place. “This is stolen money,” thought Phil, shuffling the crisp bills. And instantly Phil realized what it could do for him. He could have a ranch, cattle, horses. Suddenly Phil heard a bush rustle behind him. He whirled. The long barrel of a rifle was pointed right at his chest. And behind the rifle were a squinted eye and a long pale face. Lon Kirby had circled back to make sure he had not been trailed.
