About the Story
One fine day, some mike played in the meadow. They were careful to watch for snakes. But when they got sleepy they all took naps, forgetting about snakes. While they were sleeping, a hungry snake went looking for dinner. First he found a nice big jar. He decided to fill it with dinner. He found three mice, and counted them as he added them to his jar — then four more — then three more. Deciding 10 were enough, he announce it was time to eat them. One of the mice pointed out the big mouse – and while the greedy snake was heading to it, the mice rocked the jar and counting backwards from 10 all got out and ran home. The “big mouse” was actually a “cold, hard rock” – and when the snake got back to the jar, it was empty.

Condition
See photo above. In good condition for age with handling/storage on the covers, including vertical crease on the front and paper pulls on the back. The page have handling marks but no names or other markings. Stored in and shipped from clean, smoke-free home.

Unless you request otherwise, I will wrap the book in plastic wrap to help protect it from the elements, tightly sandwich it between pieces of cardboard, then wrap in brown paper to send via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking.
