Description

From the Back Cover
Conrad’s immortal novel of the sea, its rewards and perils—the story of man’s guilt, his expiation, and his final, tragic redemption. Joseph Conrad is as noted for profound psychological insights as for the superb authenticity of his seafaring tales. LORD JIM, his masterpiece, is the classic study of a man’s cowardice, his act of betrayal, his search for forgiveness, and the purge of his guilt in the sacrifice of his own life.
