The Virtuoso Pianist in Sixty Exercises for the Piano by C. L. Hanon, translated from the French by D. Theodore Baker. From G. Schirmer with 1900 and 1928 copyrights. See the Title page to see the signature of the first owner: renaissance man Duncan Long whose skills included musician. This piano lesson book measures about 11-7/8″ x 9-1/8″ and has 24 pages in staple binding.
Condition
See photos above. In very good condition for age with normal handling/storage plus stains on the covers as shown. The pages are in good condition with little stickers (as shown) at the top of the first two pages but none after that and no music markings. From clean, smoke-free, musical home.
Shipping
Generally sent the same day payment arrives. Unless you request otherwise, I will wrap the book in plastic wrap to help protect it from the elements, tightly sandwich it between pieces of cardboard, then wrap in brown paper to send via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking. See the shipping page for the cost to send a one-pound Media Mail package. Insurance is an additional cost as described. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more (if you allow me to manually adjust the invoice before you pay) — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
