This little Collection differs, it is believed, from others in the attempt made to include in it all the best original Lyrical pieces and Songs in our language (save a very few regretfully omitted on account of length), by writers not living — and none beside the best. Many familiar verses will hence be met with; many also which should be familiar: —the Editor will regard as his fittest readers those who love Poetry so well, that he can offer them nothing not already known and valued.

The Golden Treasury: Selected from the Best Songs and Lyrical Poems in the English Language, and Arranged with Notes – by Francis T. Palgrave. Revised and Enlarged, from The Macmillan Company in 1916. This hardcover book measures about 5-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ and has 387 pages.
Condition
See image above. In very good condition for age. The covers have some rubbing around the edges. The binding is strong and square. The pages are toning and show some storage but are very good overall. Names inside front cover but no other markings found. Smells lightly of musty basement. Should air out OK. From clean, smoke-free home.

Generally sent the same day payment arrives. Unless you request otherwise, I will wrap the book in plastic wrap to help protect it from the elements, create a custom-made cardboard box to ship it in, and send via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking. See the shipping page for the cost to send a one-pound Media Mail package. Insurance is an additional cost as described.
