By Harry James and his Orchestra. 10″ 78 RPM record 38059 from Columbia in 1947.
Condition
See photo above. The record labels are in very good condition (no spindle scuffs). The shellac record is clean and in visually good condition for age with scuffs and scratches on the first side, very nice second side. It plays with good sound (for a 78) with surface noise but no skips or repeats. Will travel inside the new/plain sleeve shown. If you want a vintage Columbia sleeve instead, that will cost you another 50 cents. Stored in and ships from clean, smoke-free home.
Shipping
Unless you request otherwise, I will keep the record inside the paper sleeve, wrap in plastic (to help protect the sleeve from moisture or splitting), sandwich between two pieces of box cardboard (to keep the record from shifting or bending), then place inside a pizza or other box (with bubble wrap or other cushion) to help protect the record and sleeve on its way to you via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking. This is minimal packaging — but 99.9% of the time is sufficient. See the Shipping page for the cost to send a two-pound Media Mail package. Additional packaging may turn it into a three-pound shipment and require more in postage. Insurance is an additional cost as described. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
