Description

About the Story
Chaucer was a very curious bear. His best friends, (a fox and squirrel) said they would miss him this winter. He asked why. They told him he would be sleeping. Chaucer confirmed this with his parents. When it was time for the bears’ winter nap, Chaucer stayed awake, went outside, and played in the snow with his friends. As winter turned to spring, he headed back to the cave where his parents were just waking up. He wanted to tell them all about the fun he had — but he was so tired he fell asleep!
