Description

About the Play
Life in a double house is one series of quarrels and misunderstandings for the Crafts and the Butlers. Although the Crafts are ardent church-goers they have little patience or love for their neighbors and seem to go out of their way to stir up trouble through their fault-finding. Mack, the policeman, comes to solicit money for a benefit performance, and preaches the doctrine of “Be a Good Neighbor” so tactfully that the differences between the two warring families are brought to an end. He proves to them that it is one thing to have religion and another to practice it.
