The Story
It’s Halloween night and Jeremiah aka Baron Mystic is running to the home of his former friend Steven aka Paraman. Steven doesn’t want to let him in, citing that he wanted nothing to do with his black magic. When Jeremiah said that the magic had turned against him that night, Steven let him in to hear the story. Jeremiah wanted Steven to go to the Astral Plane to find the power to defeat a demon he had accidentally summoned. Steven explained that he could not go there – that he was born again, thanks to a former enemy that had found Jesus and then converted him. Suddenly the demon appeared. Baron Mystic was prepared to save his friend, even if it cost him his soul. Paraman said “There will be no magic used in my home!” and then said, “and no demons!” and proceeded to fight the demon – with no success. Then he remembered what he was reading earlier: where Jesus sent out the 70, giving them power to cast out demons in his name. Paraman called out “go away in Jesus’ name” and the demon disappeared. Baron was afraid the demon might come back, so Paraman agreed to teach him Heavenly power.
