About We Are Not Amused
In one of the apartments in Buckingham Palace five ladies wait for Queen Victoria. As they pass the time they talk about how the Queen notices if they wear a dress more than once. One talks about getting caught in the hall where she was not supposed to be, with a large vase of flowers, spills some water, and hopes the dog Mop gets blamed for it. The Queen comes in as she is telling the story and insists the story be reinacted. Still believing the dog had an accident, the woman who spilled the water is asked to whip the dog.5F
