What You Get
Vogue 6243 which includes the full-size pattern pieces and instructions for making this dress I’d wear today. Features include fly front or outside button closing from neck to hem. Gored skirt has two large patch pockets with interesting shape. Shaped collar and sleeves in two lengths, shoulder bust darts and self belt are other details. Use the zoom feature for a closer look. Let me know if you’d like to see the envelope back. This is sized for women who wear vintage Misses’ 14 (32″ bust, 35″ hip). This is an unprinted pattern. Follow the holes in the tissue and the instructions to know how to construct this dress. No date found but I would date this to the late 1940s or early 1950s.
Condition
The envelope is in very good condition for age. The pattern is complete. No personal names or markings noted. From clean, smoke-free home.
Shipping
Generally sent the same day you pay. Unless you request otherwise, I will back this with one piece of box cardboard (to help prevent the Post Office from bending it), wrap it in plastic wrap (to help protect the item from moisture or torn packaging), then send inside a manila envelope (or brown paper) when sent via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. This is the cheapest postage option that includes both item protection and tracking. See the shipping page to give you an estimate on the cost of a First Class 1 package. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
