Description

From the Envelope Back
This fashionable boot-length reversible quilted coat hangs closed in the front without fastenings. A quilted or trapunto border finishes the hem, neck and front opening and is echoed in cuffs and welts over handslits (which are common in ethnic outer garments instead of a pocket). Roomy tapered sleeves, gussets, and side panels give the garment an authentic shape. A lovely simple-sew version of the coat is made with prequilted fabric. The more advanced seamstress may quilt the body of the coat and the borders by hand or machine. Trapunto designs are given for all borders and for a decorative square patch at the side hem-line. This trapunto motif can be extended over the entire coat if desired. Separate Cutting Lines are given for Small (6-8), Medium (10-12), and Large (14-16) sizes, the length can be varied as you wish.

Shipping
Generally sent the same day you pay. Unless you request otherwise, I will back this with one piece of box cardboard (to help prevent the Post Office from bending it), wrap it in plastic wrap (to help protect the item from moisture or torn packaging), then send inside a manila envelope when sent via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. This is the cheapest postage option that includes both item protection and tracking. See the shipping page to give you an estimate on the cost of a First Class 4 package. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
