Description

From the Book Back
The thousands of men and women who went to California for the Gold Rush were starved for news from home. But a letter took three or four months to get to them. So it was decided to create the Pony Express — young men riding at breakneck speed from Missouri to Sacramento. Join these daring young pony riders as they brave mountains, deserts, mud, blizzards and hostile Indians to deliver the mail in just 10 days!
