Linen post card featuring The Hotel Taft in New Haven, Connecticut. Card 48824 from Harold Hahn Company of New Haven. From Metrocraft in Everett, Mass. Postmarked on December 18, 1943, from New Haven. The stamp is a green Four Freedoms 1 cent. This measures 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.
Condition
See photos above. In very good condition for age with some light storage on the corner tips and a tiny bit of bend about center along the bottom edge. From clean, smoke-free home.

Shipping Options
Generally sent the same day payment arrives. The stated First Class price includes having the card wrapped in plastic to protect from moisture, then sandwiched in two pieces of box cardboard (cut in opposite directions for extra strength), then inside a manila envelope. Delivery Confirmation tracking is included. Choose Priority Mail and up to $50 of insurance is included. If you want a packaging or shipping option not yet listed, talk with me before you pay so I can adjust the invoice up or down as needed.
