From the Preface
Twenty-six years of ministry across our church have been an enriching experience to me because of the multiple contacts with so many beautiful senior adults. This has been especially so in the past seven years as I have served as Minister of Pastoral Care and Senior Adult Ministry at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. During this time I have been strengthened over and over again by the great reservoir of spirit and knowledge of this great generation of older people. They have given so much to so many for so long—and they are still giving.
I am grateful for a generous church and senior pastor who have given to me the privilege of being in the very vanguard of the senior adult ministry and the founding of our Nazarene International Retreat of Golden Agers. To watch our NIROGAS “explode” has been the most thrilling aspect of my work in the senior adult ministry. As I have associated with thousands of our older people from across our church I have observed the great resource of love, knowledge, and spirit that they possess. For several years I have wanted to compile a volume of devotionals from this mighty force that includes former pastors, evangelists, educators, missionaries, businessmen, district superintendents, general superintendents, and General Board members. Thus this volume, Sunrise Devotions.

Sunrise Devotions compiled by Sam Stearman. From the First Printing by Beacon Hill Press with 1978 copyright. The ISBN is 0-8341-0543-8. This hardcover book measures about 9″ x 6″ and has 96 pages, ending with a song. At the bottom of each devotional page there is a b/w photo of the author.
Condition
Enlarge the photo above. In very good condition overall with some lighter handling/storage/soil on the covers. The pages are in very good condition, perhaps toning a bit from age. No names or other markings noted. Stored in and ships from clean, smoke-free Christian home.

Generally sent the same day payment arrives. Unless you request otherwise, I will wrap the book in plastic wrap to help protect it from the elements, create a custom-made cardboard box to ship it in, and send via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation tracking. See the shipping page for the cost to send a two-pound Media Mail package. Insurance is an additional cost as described.
