What You Get
Simplicity 1407 which includes the full-size pattern and instructions for making these shirts for men with short or long sleeves, shoulder yoke, open collar, and optional large patch pockets. Use the zoom feature to see more detail. Let me know if you’d like to see the envelope back. This has 1955 copyright. I have this pattern in two sizes. First buyer choose between Small (14-14.5″ neck, 34-36″ chest) or Medium (15-15.5″ neck, 38-40″ chest).
See scans. For the Small, the envelope shows normal storage for age with some tears and darkening of the paper. Of the 12 pattern pieces, 6 were cut, 6 were not. The instructions are in very good condition. For Medium, the envelope shows a few tears and old scotch tape stain. For this one, 8 pieces were cut out, 4 were not. There is some tape on one piece. The instructions are very nice. From clean, smoke-free home.
Generally sent the same day you pay. Unless you request otherwise, I will back this with one piece of box cardboard (to help prevent the Post Office from bending it), wrap it in plastic wrap (to help protect the item from moisture or torn packaging), then send inside a manila envelope (or brown paper) when sent via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. This is the cheapest postage option that includes both item protection and tracking. See the shipping page to give you an estimate on the cost of a First Class 1 package. I am delighted to combine postage and insurance costs if you purchase more than one item. The second item may travel for free or just a few cents more — so it’s worth taking a look at my other items before you complete your order.
