Description

About the Story
Katy and Dad went to the wildlife part. When they got there they saw a sign that said “No Ball Games.” What was Katy supposed to do with her ball? Dad said to hold onto it, and “no ball games.” The first exhibit was a tiger — who was quite bored. They they went to see the elephants. The baby elephant stretched out her trunk and took Katy’s ball. When Katy asked for it back, the elephant snorted the ball over the wall — landing in the sea lions’ pool. From there it went to chimpanzee island, bounced off the hippopotamus, and landed in the petting zoo where a billy goat hit the ball with his horns and it landed in the tiger’s den. When Katy asked for the ball back the tiger growled and pushed the ball around the den – then played with it. All the people laughed. “Now you’ve got lots to so,” said Katy. “You can keep my ball.”
