The collection examines the life-transforming experience of becoming a father the relationship between father and son, and the special place a daughter occupies in her father’s heart—and does not omit the subject of the sins of the father as seen through the eyes of the child. Fatherhood also contains peerless advice from such sources as the Bible and Bill Cosby, and considers how the role of “dad” has changed from Roman times to the present day.
