The Story
The week before Christmas it’s busy at the North Pole. Mrs. Claus is busy reading all the letters sent to Santa. Three days before Christmas, Dr. Chuck (a veterinarian) takes care of all Santa’s reindeer and pets. On Christmas Eve morning, all the presents get loaded on the sleigh in just the right order. At noon on Christmas Eve, Santa and Mrs. Claus have a party for all of Santa’s helpers to celebrate all the hard work getting ready for Christmas. The party lasts till mid afternoon, then Santa and the Reindeer take a nap. As the sun goes down at the North Pole, Mrs. Claus and the little helpers awaken Santa and the reindeer and get them ready for the long journey. Just before the journey is about to begin, eveyone gathers one last time and thanks each other for workng so hard and helping each other. They say a prayer for the birth of baby Jesus because that’s what Christmasms is really all about. It’s now dark and the much-awaited journey is ready to begin. Rudolph is excited and his nose is so bright the sky lights up. Then Santa boldly commands “Up, up and away!”
