Description

From the Preface
In 1982, the Kansas Wheat Commission will celebrate 25 years of promoting Hard Red Winter wheat for the Kansas wheat farmer. By using all-purpose flour in these recipes you will be helping him to sell more of his wheat and both of you will have great satisfaction — particularly you and your family when they smell and taste the delicious products made from these recipes. Each recipe has been tested. However, if you have a problem with any of your baked products, we’d be happy to hear from you and perhaps be able to give you a constructive reply. We do suggest a thermometer to test water temperature used in yeast breads. Enriched flour products are a nutritious part of your daily diet. Eat some at every meal. The Wheat Commission is a state agency supported entirely by the Kansas wheat producer.
