Description

From the Dust Jacket Fly Leaf
I’m Max Knight, and I’m having a baby ….I used to be a baby when I wore these little clothes….! visited the hospital where Mom will go to have the baby. When you’re not used to it, the hospital is a little scary….Dad and I made a changing table for the baby. I’m good at making things. I made the Empire State Building out of blocks. Kathryn Lasky Knight recorded the words of her five-year-old son as the family awaited, and then celebrated, the birth of their new baby. This engaging combination of text and Dad’s photographs captures the anticipation, impatience, apprehension, and joy involved in the arrival of Max’s baby.
